The new social deduction experience, designed for up to 30 players, is set to launch on WhatsApp across the UK and Ireland later this year.

CityDays have confirmed that The Traitors: Anywhere, an officially licensed social deduction game inspired by the global hit TV phenomenon The Traitors, will launch for players in the UK and Ireland later this year. The game brings the tension, strategy and psychological intrigue of The Traitors directly into players’ everyday lives, and is played entirely through WhatsApp, with no additional apps or downloads required.
Built for groups of friends, families or colleagues, The Traitors: Anywhere transforms a private group chat into a high-stakes world of suspicion, scheming and surprise. Designed for up to 30 players, with larger groups able to split into parallel games, each experience unfolds over approximately one week of orchestrated action.
Across the week, players navigate a compelling cycle of missions, Round Table discussions, banishments and covert Traitor activity. Cooperation and deception go hand in hand as participants complete challenges, form alliances and attempt to uncover hidden Traitors or successfully conceal their own identity. Private messages with the host add an additional layer of strategy, while the group chat becomes the central stage for accusations, persuasion and dramatic reveals.
