Ted’s Crazy Golf has confirmed that their new Shoreditch venue will open later this month on 22nd October, just in time for Halloween.
Located at 78 Great Eastern Street, the venue has spent the last 12 weeks being transformed from a former restaurant into a completely new comedy-horror world, combining two immersive 9-hole courses with giant animatronics, original characters, a retro-inspired bar and The Deadbeat Diner.
With bookings now open, Ted’s is revealing more of what Londoners can expect inside its first London venue, from vampire toys and man-eating plants to custom-built monsters, retro cocktails and a crazy golf-like experience you’ve never seen before.
The Shoreditch venue brings together Bad Bones, Ted’s gothic graveyard course, and Toy Bites, a brand new experience created exclusively for London.
Bad Bones takes players through a strange trip to the ‘other side’, where trash-talking gargoyles, skeletons, zombie hands and Evil Iris, a man-eating Venus flytrap, are waiting around the course.
Toy Bites takes a very different turn. Set inside a twisted vampire toyshop, this course takes familiar childhood toys and gives them a comedy-horror makeover, with a six-foot vampire robot, Scare Bear strapped to a blood cooler, and Buddy-in-a-Box among the characters waiting inside.

The idea is not to create a traditional horror attraction, but something much more playful. Ted’s is rooted in comedy horror, mixing creepy characters and dark humour with nostalgia, ridiculous ideas and unexpected details designed to make guests laugh as much as they make them look twice.
Away from the courses, the food and drink offering has also been designed as part of the experience. The Deadbeat Diner takes inspiration from retro American diners, serving pizzas, hot dogs, milkshakes, ice-cream
floats and frozen slushies, alongside cocktails including the American Scream, Peek-A-Boo and Cherry Cherry
Cola.
Over the last 12 weeks, the former restaurant has been completely stripped back and reinvented, turning the
5,000 sq ft space into two 9-hole courses of comedy-horror crazy golf, filled with custom-built monsters,
original artwork, animatronics and theatrical installations.

Bringing the world to life has involved a team of artists, designers, prop makers and fabricators with backgrounds spanning major film and television productions, street art and international brands. Among them is illustrator The Butcher Billy, whose work includes projects linked to Stranger Things, Black Mirror and Marvel, alongside prop designer and fabricator Callum Bell of Callum Bell Creations, whose previous film work includes productions such as Frankenstein, Star Wars, Mickey 17 and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Larissa-Sophie Houghton, co-founder of Ted’s Crazy Golf, said:
It feels brilliant to finally be able to say that tickets are live and the full venue will be ready from 22nd October. The last 12 weeks have been about taking all of these ridiculous ideas, characters and sketches and turning them into something people can actually walk into. Seeing Toy Bites in particular come to life has been so much fun because it’s completely new for London.
What I love about Ted’s is that it never takes itself too seriously. It’s comedy horror, so there are monsters and creepy things everywhere, but they are cool and sometimes even cute! We want people to enter and leave London behind, get off their screens and play in a world that ignites their imagination.
Ted’s Crazy Golf Shoreditch, which is located at 78 Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, opens on 22nd October 2026. A standard 9-hole ticket is £14.00. For more information and to book tickets, visit tedscrazygolf.co.uk
