Just like the show, the game requires strategy, teamwork and quick thinking. Players are given a budget to manage as they race through the city, spending in-game cash to unlock clues and choose routes for the next leg of the journey. Teams can decide whether to play it safe or take risks in pursuit of victory, with every decision shaping the outcome of the race.
Blending the thrill of an interactive game with the excitement of exploring Bristol, Edinburgh, and York, it’s a high-stakes race against the clock where every choice counts. Players are scored based on how quickly they complete the challenge and how much of their budget remains.
Final scores are ranked on a live leaderboard throughout the day and week, with the team finishing in the fastest time and with the most budget left crowned daily or weekly champions.

The adventure is split into three distinct legs that weave through the heart of the city, taking participants on a 4–5 km mission across Bristol, Edinburgh, and York that typically lasts 2–3 hours. Along the way, teams will discover treasures often missed by those rushing through the city on buses, while experiencing Bristol, Edinburgh, and York in a completely new way.
Participants will journey through each city’s most iconic landmarks, cultural hotspots, and hidden gems, with every location acting as a checkpoint where teams solve clever escape-room-style puzzles to unlock the next stage of the race.
In Bristol, teams will pass through highlights such as Bristol Cathedral, the Corn Exchange, Temple Gardens, and Princes Wharf, using clues uncovered at each stop to guide them deeper into the city. In Edinburgh, the adventure winds through famous sites including Edinburgh Castle, the Grassmarket and the Scott Monument, with puzzles revealing new parts of the city while showcasing its unique character. Meanwhile, in York, teams will explore historic locations like The Shambles, York Minster, and Dean’s Park, tackling challenges that lead them from one checkpoint to the next and uncover the city’s rich history and hidden corners along the way.
