Award-winning horror attraction The Nightmare Realm is coming to London for the first time this Halloween

One of Europe's biggest immersive horror attractions, The Nightmare Realm, is making its UK debut this October, bringing 17 years of Irish horror, storytelling and theatrical spectacle to London for the very first time.
Running for just 18 nights from 9th October to 1st November 2026, The Nightmare Realm will transform the historic Avery Hill Mansion in Greenwich into an immersive world of fear, launching its new theme, A Nightmare From Overseas.
Founded in Ireland in 2009, The Nightmare Realm has spent the past 17 years creating, producing and operating entirely in Ireland, building an international reputation while remaining an independent Irish brand.
Over the years, it has attracted celebrity guests including Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker), Wednesday star Emma Myers, Sweet Tooth star Christian Convery and Irish pop band Wild Youth. 2026 marks its biggest chapter yet as it brings its unique brand of cinematic horror to London for the very first time.

Rather than simply walking through a haunted attraction, guests become part of an unfolding story in which every character, location and encounter has its own history. Every year, The Nightmare Realm creates entirely new worlds from scratch, with original mythology, fresh storylines and brand-new environments, ensuring no two seasons are ever the same.
This year's London debut features two brand-new headline experiences. Avery Hill Asylum invites guests inside a Victorian institution where the brilliant but dangerously obsessive Dr Thorne has pushed medical experimentation beyond the limits of humanity. Sundown Manor follows an ancient Irish bloodline that has crossed the Irish Sea in search of fresh victims, bringing a distinctly Irish horror story to London's Halloween season.

Connecting both experiences is Halloween Town, The Nightmare Realm's own supernatural midway. More than simply a space between attractions, it is a living village where stories spill into the streets and every resident has their own history, rivalries and secrets. Guests may overhear conversations, uncover hidden mysteries and even discover secret rooms concealed within the town. Halloween Town isn't a break between stories - it is the story, alive, unpredictable and never quite the same twice.
Across the site, more than 70 live actors bring the world to life through theatrical performances, cinematic set design, practical illusions, adrenaline-fuelled moments, immersive storytelling and special effects designed to blur the line between theatre and horror.

The Nightmare Realm is a multiple winner of Best Halloween Event in Europe at the ScareTOUR Awards and was also recognised with the Best Costume & Make-Up Award in 2025, cementing its reputation as one of Europe's leading immersive horror experiences.
